reflection…… on last year, my life, family, relationships, art, fly fishing.
if you fear accomplishment, then why try;
if you fear climbing, why would you climb Everest;
if you are afraid of the water and can’t swim, why would you fly fish?
Many of the questions others have asked and I have asked myself, no I have not attempted to climb Everest, but working on my art some days feels like that climb. There is something so deeply embedded within myself, that makes me keep climbing or pursuing my art.
Rhythm, Balance, Patience,
That’s what you must have to stay on the path to success;
it is the same with fly fishing, art, climbing, golf,
most anything.
Keeping a calm mindset,
allows me to keep a focus on the feel of my business, or fly line,
my emotional control can let me wander off the outcome, or keep me on track.
Confidence in life comes from being prepared,
in ALL ways, physical, emotionally etc.
you can not always succeed if you are not prepared for the unexpected.
Having a good plan, and updating it, and staying with it is my key.
