Artists Commissions

Commissions are one of my favorite types of art to create for my clients and a major part of my business. I appreciate all the collectors and wonderful comments and discussions on all of my art.

Over the years I have been dedicated to doing work like none other on these very special pieces to those who commission a specific piece.  Commissions are available in all mediums I work in. Most requested mediums are watercolor, scratchboard and silk. I

have been specializing in Scratchboard pet portraits over the last few years, but also do many fly fishing art commissions, favorite flies, and fish.  One of the most requested Silk

Painting items are Custom Wild Rag Cowboy Silk Scarves and Sculptured lamps, candles, hurricanes. There are many ways for a group or club to order specialized items such as club banners, and flags as well. I have done several wedding silk banners and alter backdrops and table runners to commemorate this special day. Bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts can also be special ordered.

Artists Commissioned Pieces depend on size and subject and number to be completed, additional charges may vary greatly should a local visit be required.

My interest in depicting truly American Art has been a life long journey. With all of the series of paintings I create, the task is always to create several pieces that hold very bright and bold colors and that the setting of the paintings depict the vast array of colors enjoyed on the northern plains and western mountains which the seasonal changes bring to the wildlife, and people who lived there and effects on their lives through out the year. While I prefer to produce art by hand painting on silk, which allows the colors to pop, and provides a depth in the silk and transparency, I dabble in many other mediums to keep my self well tuned. Colorful art is most satisfying to me as an artist.

Anderson R. Moore is a Silk artist and art educator, striving to evoke emotional responses to her paintings and other works through the paint brush. Most of her paintings are large works, and color is important in telling the story.
