We were wondering how many folks actually participate in the Art Walk on First Night in Fort Collins. A wonderful turn out, we could not have been happier. Now we know!
Turns out that Saturday was going to have to compete with the monsoon rains, but still, we had people coming and going until the rains started. The silk painting demonstration went well and it was good to see the new found interest here in Ft. Collins for painting on silk.
“Progressive Work Of Dreams” Art Show Opening which Anderson R. Moore and Daphne Potter, opened Friday July 6 was a hit.
We were open during the week as well from 11- 4pm, and had folks coming and going throughout the day.
A very special thank you to all those who volunteered to help us out with set up and serving food and greeting all those guest who came by. Those that deserve honorable mention are; Susan, Jerry, John Sr., John Jr., Steve, Miranda, and Daphne’s Mom who went way out of her way, above and beyond to help out. Thanks everyone.
Friday July 13th, make sure to get down there tonight at Art Lab Ft. Collins, 239 Linden Street, Ft. Collins, to take advantage of the early bird sales, if you mention this post on the blog, get a great discount on Anderson’s Fly Fishing Art.
