We have finally heard who made it into the Ratner Museum Exhibit for SPIN’s Final Showing.
And yours truly made it! YES!!!!!!!!! Here is a copy of the text announcement we received today.
“Congratulations to Nandy King, Shaaron Thomas, Sande Anderson, Phillippa K. Lack, MSP, Doris Knape, Nadia Azumi, Aileen Horn, Betty Lathrop, Anderson R. Moore, Kaki Steward, and Don Baker. Your work has been included in SPIN’s last exhibit of silk panels at the Ratner Museum in Bethesda, Maryland. These panels will hang from May 2013 – July 2013. Please stop by the museum and say hello to Stella when you are in town. Stella Bernstein is the director of the museum. She takes a personal interest in the artists and the work on exhibit and leads numerous tours every week. The museum hosts receptions, private and community events every month.”
This is such an exciting time for me, I have several other exhibits coming during the summer and fall so please visit the calendar and schedule of events to get all the new information.
The catalog for this exhibition ( Ratner Catalog 05-2013 ) is prominently displayed in the museum and includes artists’ statements, profiles and any additional information provided by the artists.
